     Paul Ray Williams Jr. was born and raised in the Red Oak Community in Searcy County, AR.  Ray graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1980 with a BSBA-Accounting.  He also passed the CPA exam that same year. 

     After graduating college, Ray and his family moved to Tulsa, OK where he was employed as a Senior Audit Accountant for Coopers & Lybrand for 3 years. 

     In 1983, Ray began working in the oil and gas industry in Wichita, KS.  He managed over ten million dollars in oil & gas investments, coordinated drilling and completion of wells, identification of new projects and management of production facilities.  While in Wichita, Ray also managed on-shore drilling rigs and was responsible for projecting rates of return for potential projects and monitoring return on investments from producing properties.

     At the end of the big oil boom in 1987, Ray moved his family to Denver, CO where he once again became employed by Coopers & Lybrand as an Audit Manager.  While in Denver, Ray authored energy industry training courses and world-wide energy industry standard risk assessment and audit programs.

     Ray answered the call home in 1994 when his father became ill with cancer.  He and his wife, Trina and their son, Alex reside in Marshall, AR  where Ray opened his private practice, Williams & Associates.  When he is not in the office, Ray can be found at home relaxing with his children and grandchildren.
